MISSION & PURPOSE

The Three First Ladies Concert is a professionally produced gospel music experience honoring the legacy and contributions of ministerial women while raising essential funds for the United Missionary Baptist Association (UMBA). This event will bring together the faith community for an artistically unique evening of worship, fellowship, and generosity—uplifting the body of Christ while financially supporting the widows and wives of ministers in our UMBA network.

THE VENUE

Mayfield Memorial Missionary Baptist Church is a cornerstone of the Charlotte faith community, known for its commitment to worship, service, and outreach. The concert will be hosted in the church’s Youth Wing, offering a capacity of 1,500+ seats, ample parking, and accessibility features including 6 designated handicap parking spaces and level-ground entry on the Argyle side for wheelchair users.

UMBA

The United Missionary Baptist Association (UMBA) is a network of Baptist churches dedicated to advancing the Kingdom through cooperative ministry, missions, and leadership development. Under the leadership of Moderator Dr. Thomas Farrow, UMBA supports local and global initiatives, provides resources for clergy and congregations, and fosters unity among its member churches.

Directions to Church: Mayfield Memorial Missionary Baptist Church is located at 700 W. Sugar Creek Rd., Charlotte, NC 28213, easily accessible from I-85 and North Tryon St. Ample parking is available on site.

 

Accessibility: 6 designated handicap parking spaces and wheelchair-accessible entry on the Argyle side of the building.
